Westral Insulated Products Group Corporate Social Responsibility Policy & Code Of Conduct

All Westral Group employees are expected to comply with our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy. It applies to all subsidiary and affiliated companies.

Our CSR policy refers to our responsibility and obligations to third parties, our community, the environment, nature and the world. It includes a Code of Conduct for all our employees that shows our desire to be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism and our commitment to the laws and values of the communities and countries that we operate in.

Legal Compliance

  • Our company will comply with all applicable national and international laws.
  • We will not tolerate any form or engage in any act of corruption or influence to any government official or private sector counterpart which would result in an unfair advantage. This includes not only cash payments but also other contributions made in expectation of any consideration.

Human Rights

  • Our company is dedicated to protecting human rights. We are a committed equal opportunity employer and will abide by all fair labour practices. We will ensure that our activities do not directly or indirectly violate human rights in any country. This includes the prohibition of the use of child labour or forced labour.

Environment

  • Our company recognises the need to protect the natural environment. We aim to reduce the company’s environmental footprint through best practices to reduce energy use, greenhouse gas emissions and waste. We utilise recycling and environmentally friendly technologies wherever possible.

Health and Safety

  • Our company recognises our responsibility for the health and safety of all our employees in their workplace.
  • We will control all hazards and take the most appropriate and reasonably possible precautionary measures to prevent accidents or occupational disease.
  • We will ensure the effective training of employees so that they are suitably prepared to deal with health and safety in their workplace.

Our company will strive to promote within our complete supply chain compliance with this code of conduct.
